Registration for CYO Volleyball for 9th-12th Grades is Now Open through August 31!
This sport is open to all Our Lady parishioners that are in 9th through 12th grades during the 2018-2019 school year. Parishioners at other parishes are eligible as long as their home parish is not sponsoring a CYO team at the same grade level. Students that are playing on a high school team cannot play CYO Volleyball because of OHSAA rules.
- Practices will begin the week of September 10.
- Schedules will be available the week of September 10.
- Games start September 15 and will run through October 23. Tournaments will be held during the weekends of October 29-30 and November 5.

K-3 Soccer Registration is Now Open!
This sport is open to all students in grades Kindergarten through Third during the 2018-2019 school year of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Cecilia, St. Mary Magdalene and Trinity schools and PSR students for all parishes that are associated with these schools. All grades will play on co-ed teams divided between K-1st Grade and 2nd-3rd Grade players.
- Camp is scheduled for Sunday, August 26 at Our Lady. K-1 will be held from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 2-3 will be held from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm.
- Practices can begin the week of September 3. Coaches will contact the parents regarding practice days and times. Please note on the registration form if there are day(s) you cannot attend.

Fees are $45 per player and include a shirt and banquet.
Note: To keep our athletics fees as low as possible, we ask you to use bank ACH/EFT by entering your bank routing and account number. All credit card transactions incur an additional processing fee.

Athletics Parent Meeting - Wednesday, August 29, 2018
One parent/guardian from each family of an athlete in grades K-8 is required to attend the Athletics Parent Meeting. The meeting will be held at 8:00 pm in the Our Lady Gym on Wednesday, August 29th. Attendance will be taken. See you then!
Bishop Ready Hosts Annual Golf Outing – Come Support the Knights!
The annual BRHS Athletics Golf Outing is August 19th at 1:30 pm at Foxfire. The registration fee is $320 per foursome, which includes 2 drink tickets and a buffet dinner. We want to fill the course this year! We would like to see alums, coaches, families, and friends come out and have a good time. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Athletic Advisory Board Needs Your Help!
The OLPHAAB has several positions open and is seeking volunteers to support the athletic programs offered to Our Lady and other parishes in our community. Available positions include:
- K-3 Athletic Commissioner
- 4-6 Boys Athletic Commissioner
- 7-8 Girls Athletic Commissioner
- Communications Liaison
- Concessions and Awards Coordinator
- Fundraising Coordinator

The OLPHAAB is responsible for providing athletic programs in which our Parish children can participate and provide opportunities to build traits such as dignity, self-discipline, respect, cooperation, teamwork and honesty. The Board consists of 12 members serving two-year terms in various capacities to administer all athletic programs for the parish in addition to the Columbus Diocesan Recreation Association programs. Candidates are interviewed and voted on by the Board. All members are expected to participate in monthly meetings and support programs offered.
Brief descriptions of the open positions are noted below.
The K-3 Athletic Commissioner and Boys Grade School and Girls Middle School Athletic Commissioners are responsible for the overall administration of their respective boys or girls programs, including selection, training and supervision of coaches for the programs offered, monitoring and enforcing volunteer requirements for coaches in accordance with Diocese of Columbus and OLPHAAB, oversight of the use of the gym and fields and that coaches maintain such facilities, ensuring equipment, materials, procedures and security are in place, conducting sign-ups and completing forms as required by the OLPHAAB and Diocesan Recreation Association.
The Concessions and Awards Coordinator maintains inventory for indoor and outdoor concession areas during the school year, coordinates awards for end of season awards and supports any other OLPHAAB Activities.
The Communications Liaison prepares and communicates with the parents, faculty and other parish organizations regarding the athletic programs, coordinates and distributes sign-ups for the parish, PSR and other schools and partner with the school and Church to schedule the use of facilities.
The Fundraising Coordinator assists the Athletic Director with the coordination and implementation of all fundraising activities of the OLPHAAB, including coordinating and maintaining sponsor lists, soliciting new sponsors, working with the Communications Liaison to communicate fundraising events and recruiting volunteers to help staff the fundraising events.
