Council Information
The Perpetual Help Council is located in the basement of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 3730 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio. The Grand Knight for 2007-2008 is Ed Nelson. You can contact the Knights by phone at (614) 871-1860, or by email at webmaster@olphkofc.net.

Council Meetings
Our business meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8 pm. We also have a social meeting on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m. We meet in the lower level of the church and our business meeting is preceded by the praying of the rosary at 7:30 pm.

Our Lady's Auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month in the church basement.

About Our Council

The creation of a Knights of Columbus council in Grove City was culminated with the first degree exemplification of 23 new members on Tuesday April 29, 1958, and the first business meeting April 30, 1958.Prior to the exemplification, there were eight organizational meetings. The first meeting was held January 16, 1958. During this meeting a motion was made by Frank Thomas to form a Knights of Columbus council in Grove City. Frank Foerst was chosen to be the temporary Chairman and Robert Zwick, the temporary Financial Secretary.
A second meeting that was held January 30, 1958, Frank Foerst appointed a membership committee comprised of Chairman Frank Strapp, Everett Shoults, Frank Thomas, Bob Kruczynski , Don Sweeney, and Gerald Bricker. Subsequent meetings were held in February, March and April with a refreshment committee established at the March 26 meeting.
During these organizational meetings, historical background, council requirements, insurance information and national, State and local activities were outlined by the following persons;

During the first business meeting on April 30, 1958 a motion was made by Frank Thomas and seconded by Cletus Kirkwood that the following prospective council names be submitted to the Bishop of Columbus for his consideration; Alma, Auxilium, Ave Maria, Our Lady of Lourdes, Perpetual Help and Notre Dame. It was also moved to ask that Rev. Fr. Richard Hoch be named the Chaplain of council 4603. The Rev Msgr. James Carroll, on June 28, sent a letter on behalf of the Bishop of Columbus naming Perpetual Help Council 4603 and also naming Rev. Fr. Richard Hoch its Chaplain.
